ORGANIC Balsamic Vinegard of MODENA I.G.P.

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is a condiment with Geographical Indication Protected (IGP).

It is produced according to various recipes and production is allowed not only in the province of Modena but also in the province of Reggio Emilia. The IGP production disciplinary leaves ample room for action, providing for the use of grape must in percentages between 20 and 90% and wine vinegar from 10 to 80%.

Once mixed, the ingredients must be kept for at least 60 days in wooden containers. The term “aged” is allowed for the product at least 3 years . Balsamic Vinegar of Modena obtained the Indication Geographical Protected (IGP) mark on 3 July 2009.
